The Launch Wayne program is an entrepreneurship development program created to support small business owners in Eastern North Carolina. Over the course of the latest program, 11 entrepreneurs participated in a hands-on, 12-session training series that covered core business topics like launching a startup, managing finances, and pitching to investors. 

This initiative wasn’t just about content delivery, it was about impact. From grant acquisition to program execution, Spiron Solutions played a central role in turning this vision into a reality. We designed the 12-week training series, facilitated sessions, tracked grant deliverables, and worked closely with Chamber staff to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for participants.

The program successfully equipped 11 local entrepreneurs with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to grow their businesses. As one entrepreneur shared, “The most valuable and lasting aspect of the program was the relationships I built... Vanessa Spiron from Spiron Solutions, our facilitator, played a pivotal role in our success on multiple levels.” With the grant goals fully met and community impact clearly visible, Launch Wayne is now positioned for continued support and future cohorts.

This non-profit program supports college students throughout North Carolina through impactful summer internships with meaningful, paid work experiences while simultaneously providing extra capacity for organizations in rural North Carolina; all with the goal of developing the state's former tobacco dependent regions.

Spiron Solutions works closely with the Golden Leaf Foundation (the program's parent organization) to ensure smooth operations from start to finish, handling the essential administrative tasks like recruitment and marketing, application management and review, and participant support. 

By maintaining strong communication with students, internship sites, and foundation stakeholders, we ensured 70+ students received a meaningful summer experience that will develop their professional skills while supporting rural North Carolina. 

Spiron Solutions serves CAPAPGPC, a California-based professional association with over 900 members, by managing and delivering comprehensive training initiatives funded by a $1 million grant. With growing demands and limited staffing, the organization needed a partner who could plan, execute, and scale statewide training solutions that help members fulfill credentialing requirements and strengthen their professional impact. Over the course of the engagement, we have worked closely with the client to ensure members received timely, relevant, and high-quality training experiences. These initiatives include virtual and in-person options, Leadership Academies, Induction Academies, microtrainings, networking, and more.

Annually, we also handle speaker engagements, call for proposals, and on-site facilitation for the 3.5-day Annual Conference, attended by 380 professionals. The event features a keynote speaker, plenary sessions, and 27 breakout sessions; the event offers a rich, engaging experience that supports professional development across California.

Spiron Solutions has partnered with the Wayne County Partnership for Children to facilitate a full-day staff retreat focused on strengthening communication, teamwork, and alignment with organizational purpose. Designed as an immersive and energizing experience, the retreat featured a blend of interactive team-building exercises, a deep-dive session on "Knowing Your Why," and individual DISC personality assessments to help staff better understand themselves and their colleagues. In addition to the full staff retreat, Spiron Solutions is implementing its ELEVATE Management and Leadership training series for supervisors within the organization. 

Spiron Solutions took a hands-on approach to designing and delivering a personalized training experience that met the unique needs of this nonprofit team. From the early planning stages to day-of facilitation, we curated a thoughtful agenda aimed at encouraging connection, self-awareness, and practical application. Each session was tailored to reflect the organization’s values, culture, and goals—while keeping it engaging and impactful.

In partnership with the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, Spiron Solutions proudly supported the Leadership Wayne program—an initiative dedicated to developing emerging and established leaders committed to community service and growth. Through monthly workshops, Spiron Solutions facilitated engaging, action-driven sessions designed to strengthen leadership skills, deepen community awareness, and inspire lifelong civic engagement. Working closely with Chamber staff, we helped deliver a seamless participant experience while ensuring each session aligned with the program’s mission to cultivate transformational leaders for Eastern North Carolina.
